Coming Soon : Essie Winter 2017

I know I originally gave you a sneak peek of this Winter Collection almost 2 weeks ago because I got word that the collection was posted on Ulta.com already, but it turns out Ulta shouldn't have had it up on their website and the collection was still in embargo! (meaning not leaked or posted at all, anywhere) I took my post down to respect the embargo restrictions, but that's officially lifted so I'm going to re-share with you this collection! And it's even better because I've actually got the PR images and info that go with the collection.

This year, the Winter Collection's theme is centred around Celebrating New Years Eve in style.

This collection has a variety of finishes. We'll be seeing pearls, shimmers and some intensely pigmented cremes.

All those reds have me yawning a bit, but Social Lights...OMG!!!! I absolutely NEEEEEED that one. It looks so interesting and unlike any other Essie's I have. I honestly can't wait to get my hands on it. I hope it looks as cool in person as it does in the promo pic. On Your Mistletoes looks very very similar to last years Satin Sister but sometimes the promo and the real polish don't look exactly the same. Since Essie is describing it as an Oxford Blue, I'm really hoping it turns out more blue (google oxford blue. It's so pretty!)

Release date for this collection is November 1.

What are your thoughts on this new Winter Collection?

    Yas, winter collection!!

I am also excited for Social Lights!!

I'm surprised there are three red/pink hues! Out of those, I'm interested the most for Ring in the Bling and New Year New Hue looks like it will be lovely.

On Your Mistletoes looks like a dupe for Satin Sister to me...

Suit and Tied I'm not fussed about and Be Cheery looks too summery for me? But yes, swatches could change my mind!

Social-lights really is the star of this collection. It really reminds me of Gone Glamping from the China Glaze fall collection a couple of years ago. I'll be curious to see how it winds up looking in a swatch.

I randomly found Social-Lights at Target while looking for As If from the recent Fall collection. Its an interesting color. The amber shimmer actually shows. I knew it was worth having when I saw it. The star of the collection for sure.

Suit & Tied was also there at Target too. Just hanging out. No display or anything. Lol. I figured it, along with Social were new due to finding no swatches or info online. Suit and Tied looked really pretty but dupable. It reminded me a little of China Glaze Dress Me Up.
