Coming Soon : Essie Galaxy Metals Holiday 2017

Well I can honestly say I didn't expect to be posting ANOTHER Coming Soon post today! I accidentally came across this collection while doing some final touches on my research this morning and I was floored. Another Holiday collection for us Essie lovers to be excited about this year!

This one is all about metallic polishes with the cutest stardust & galaxy names.

I'm loving this lineup! I'm super curious whether these will be like the Mirror Metallics Collection that Essie came out with in 2012 (in which case, what's the difference between the two?) or if they will be more foiled like other metallic polishes released this year like S'il Vous Play

The shade names from left to right:
  • In My Orbit
  • Out of this World
  • Reflection Perfection
  • Stars Aligned
  • Stardust
  • Mercury Retrograde

These polishes are going to be available October 2017 in the U.K. I've got my fingers crossed that this is a collection that will be released in Canada too! (unlike the Gel Couture Fall 2017 Collection and Gel Couture Holiday 2017 Collection. Why Essie Canada?!)

Out of all of these new collections releasing, which collections and polishes are you most excited about??

The bronze-y orange-y one speaks to me... "Reflection Perfection"? I think I'd have to see swatches of these to see if I want to buy any! But still, news of new Essie is always exciting!

I stumbled upon these in a store in paris just today ! You're right they look exactly like the mirror metallics, at least at first sight. I was immediately drawn to "out of this world" and then "reflection perfection", but at least in chroma they really look so similar to "nothing else metals" and "penny talk". I can't tell the difference.
This first one would also be very similar to the recent "girly grunge", can't really explain why they would release such similar shades so close to one another ?
Unfortunately I don't own any of these shades, so I won't be of much help, and I'm also still a bit on the fence about those metallic finishes ... but I can't wait to see some swatches !
