Essie Spool Me Over

This is such an incredibly beautiful pale peachy pink nude. It's my favourite out of all the pale peachy pink nudes I own, not only because it's the long wearing Gel Couture formula and wide brush, but because the colour is just perfection. I kinda wished I would've remembered this polish and included it in my 2016 Favourites because it's that good!

Essie calls it a "creamy apricot pink". It is, but the pink isn't super pronounced. There's just enough to warm it up. This polish needs 3 coats to be opaque but that doesn't bother me all that much, since you get to skip base coat with this formula.

Spool Me Over vs. High Class Affair vs. Got Engaged vs. Steal His Name

Steal His Name is quite different and definitely has more pink to it. Got Engaged, Spool Me Over and High Class Affair look very very similar on the nail, although there are some slight differences.
High Class Affair is a bit more peachy and a tad bit darker with some tan to it. Spool Me Over is a touch paler/brighter in comparison. Got Engaged is super close to being a dupe except for the tiny glitter in the formula and it's a bit dustier. The formula is also a bit more sheer and patchy. It took me 4 coats to get it completely opaque (I probably could've done it in 3 if I had used Fill the Gap as a base coat) but Spool Me Over only takes 3 coats to become opaque with no base coat.

This is the polish I chose to wear when I went to New York for a week and it was the perfect choice. It went with every outfit I wore and my nails stayed looking great the whole time.

This is such a gorgeous shade and I have all the heart eyes for it!
