But in the last two years, I have come to LOVE nude polishes so I decided to pick up Sand Tropez and at least give it a shot. From the very first time I put it on, I was head over heels for it. I feel like it elongates my fingers and compliments every single outfit I put on.
The sandy grey undertone makes it a really pale greige. If you like Chinchilly, Master Plan or Take It Outside you will probably love Sand Tropez.
The formula is easy to apply in 2 coats. It's not the typical opaque thicker formula that's been coming out recently, so you may need a third coat on some nails, but it's nice and self-leveling.
This flattering shade of beige came out in the Spring of 2011 along with French Affair and Topless & Barefoot and has since been added to the permanent line. It's only been six years, but I'd say it's an Essie classic.
