Back in 2014, I tried this polish from my friend Bailey and wanted it so bad. It has this beautiful mix of dark bluey-purple but it also seems to retain it's saturated colour without looking black. It was released in 2012 in the Resort Collection and Bailey had found it in a clearance bin. I was so jealous that I hadn't found it first. Shortly after I had tried No More Film and coveted it, Essie released the 2014 Resort Collection which had a very similar shade in it. I debated whether to order the brand new polish called Under the Twilight or go for the one I REALLY wanted, which was No More Film. Ultimately, I was sucked into the "NEW REALEASE!" and ordered Under the Twilight.
I ended up spending my whole review saying the formula was nice but that I wished the colour was lighter and more purple....so basically I wished it was No More Film. Gahhh! I should've just ordered it in the first place (I've since gone back and edited that review to remove my silly complaining). If you are curious to see No More Film next to Under The Twilight, check out this post. I compared those two next to one another, as well as Kimono-Over.
I'm so happy I finally got my hands on a bottle of this polish. The colour is such a rich and velvety indigo. A follower on Instagram (hi @nic411!) told me to put a coat of Matte About You topcoat over No More Film and I'm loving the result.
I don't think this polish was added to the Essie permanent line, but you can still find bottles of it on nailpolishcanada.com. I'm a big fan!

I got this instead of After School Boy Blazer because I like deep colors that don't look like black on my nails
